Thousands of runners began the New York City Marathon and gave it their all to cross the finish line in Central Park to complete the New York City Marathon Sunday afternoon.
This years winner is Geoffrey Mutai of Kenya broke the marathon record with his time of 2 hours, 5 minutes, and 6 seconds months after running the fastest marathon ever in Boston.
