NYC Marathon Lottery Results

NYC Half 2012 Results

Today was a day that Kicks of the 2012 Running season for many, it was the running of the New York City Half Marathon.

The Race had 2 men come in under 1hr and on the women's side there was a close finish with Idlehides favorite runner, Kara Goucher, come in 3rd.

New York City Marathon Application

It has always been Idlehides' dream to run the New York City Marathon, but as you know it's a lottery to get in so here comes another year to throw your name in the raffle, cross your fingers and hope you get in.

It is not a dream of mine to run the NYC Marathon but I'll think I'll apply and see what happens, it would be cool to run through NYC on a fall day and crossing the finish line of my first marathon in central park.

Geoffrey Mutai Wins New York City Marathon

Thousands of runners began the New York City Marathon and gave it their all to cross the finish line in Central Park to complete the New York City Marathon Sunday afternoon.

This years winner is Geoffrey Mutai of Kenya broke the marathon record with his time of 2 hours, 5 minutes, and 6 seconds months after running the fastest marathon ever in Boston.
