Police and CrossFit

Being a Police Officer, CrossFit is perfect for my profession as I never know what a shift will bring. One shift I could be sitting in the Police car for 10 hours then all of a sudden your chasing someone, jumping a fence, maybe fighting with someone. CrossFit training prepares you that.

A lot of Fire fighters and Police Officers train in Crossfit but you don't see many at the elite level. A guy like Rich Froning trains full-time, CrossFit is his profession. Cop Shop 2011

I just got back from Cop Shop 2011 that's held at the Halifax Shopping Center. The program provides awesome kids from the community gift cards to the mall and a Police Officer as their personal shopper.

This is my first year participating in Cop Shop, other years I had commitments but from now on I'll make sure I make every other one.

 This was definitely the highlight of Christmas for me. My little Buddy "A" had a list all done up with prices and he was so pumped when he had enough $ for the DS he wanted.

This was soo fun.
