Team World won the the 2013 CrossFit Invitational today, it would be considered a huge upset in the Crossfit World as Team USA had the Top 3 Men at the 2013 CrossFit Games and the 2nd and 3rd ranked women.The big names did not disapoint, On the mens side Rich Froning was the beast is always is and for the women Sam Briggs pulled her team along. The World with the help of Chad Mackay lunged their way to win Event 5 that sealed their win.
This Event would have finished alot different if Valerie Voboril was at full strength, during the event she struggled and it apears her sore shoulder was alot worse then expected. But give Voboril credit she muscled through it.
I want to give a shout out to the 2 Canadians on Team World that looked great. Camille Leblanc-Bazinet and Albert-Dominic Larouche made Canadian Crossfitters proud.
It was a great event!
