Top Crossfit Shoes 2013

I have been greatly interested in Crossfit of late and I think it's something I'll try this year. And my thing I love about Crossfit is the awesome styles, they have colorful minimal shoes and funky socks, whats better.

Here are my Top 5 Crossfit shoes, you'll see my top picks are more minimal.

1) New Balance Minimus 20v3
This Shoe is classified as a crosstrainer, it's not strictly a weightlifting shoe. The 20v3 has a very minimal drop of only 4mm. The 20v3 has some cushioning that provides support during sprints and box jumps. Weighing only 6.5 ounces, it's light and it's welded seams prevent chafing so you can wear these without socks. These shoes will cost you $100 -$120

2) Inov-8 F-Lite 232 is a zero drop shoe that puts you closer to the ground and has a wide toe box to let you really spread your toes out for a supreme foundation. The outsole prevents slipping with a super sticky rubber that increases friction between your foot and the floor, These shoes are popular with the barefoot running community, These will cost you $120

3) Reebok CrossFit Nano 2.0

Reebok has been leading the charge with Crossfit shoes,  the new CrossFit Nano 2.0. has an upper designed for lateral support, and a low profile platform that balances cushioning and stability so you can stay quick, safe and comfortable through even the toughest WODs.
  • Breathable mesh upper for added ventilation
  • Low-cut for added mobility, upper designed for lateral support and stability
  • DuraGrip print along the toe cap makes it durable for a longer use
  • High abrasion rubber outsole for improved durability
  • Full length low profile with EVA midsole for cushioning and low-to-ground feel
  • Forefoot flex grooves for added flexibility

4) Reebok Crossfit Lifter
This shoe is alittle more advanced then the others, Reebok have taken their technology to the next level with a shoe that easily customizes to your feet. Simply pop the Reebok CrossFit Lifter in a preheated oven to 200 degrees and heat for three minutes until the U-Form tab turns red. Take the shoes out of the oven, lace up as you normally would, and wear the kicks seated for eight minutes. If you ever bought high end hockey skates you may be familiar with this process, its pretty cool. With the extra technology the shoe weights alittle more, it weighs in at only 13.4 ounces, and will cost you $150

5) Puma Bioweb Elite
I haven't seen this shoes yet, I think it comes out this month, I added it for all the hype attached to it. Puma says the Bioweb Elite provides enough support for lifting and training in the gym, but it’s built to withstand road running too—the outsole with flex grooves ensures a smooth stride on long runs. The pic shows the Fire and Ice design.  It will cost you $100
